About Us

AeroVintage Ltd was formed in 1982 with the aim to discover and preserve a high-quality collection of pre-1945 ex-military aircraft, to share with the public at air shows and in film and television. As the collection grew, so too did the need for a restoration company capable of repairing and maintaining the collection, leading to the formation of sister company, Retrotec. With workshops at the Imperial War Museum Duxford and in Hastings, East Sussex, Retrotec is recognised as one of the world’s premier aircraft restoration companies. As part of the group’s work, AeroVintage holds one of the largest collections of original and high-quality reproduction historic aircraft spare parts in the world along with a vast number of unique collectables.
